Leader Information
Team Leaders are assigned the joy of recruiting and managing a team of volunteers to accomplish their task. Plan, schedule and conduct necessary team meetings. Set goals to accomplish team objectives.

Leadership Team
The Leadership Team is a team of faith: refusing to duck responsibility, refusing to take the bow and committed to serving every volunteer and guest. They bind themselves to work hard, honor Jesus above all things and live out a life of love for one another. This team is not serving through volunteers; it is Christ living through the leadership. Compassion Montavilla is not their work; prayer and support is their work. Compassion Montavilla is not their desire; Jesus is their desire.

- Communicate with churches, agencies and schools

Prayer Team Coordinator
The Prayer Team provides consistent, intercessory prayer support in order to ensure that Compassion Montavilla is a work of the Spirit of God which will bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ and His compassion to the people in the greater Montavilla area.

Objectives:
- Recruit volunteers to pray
- Receive prayer requests from Team Coordinators
- Identify community prayer needs
- Personal intercession over the on-going needs of Compassion Montavilla (updated on a regular basis through e-mail or prayer memos)
- Coming together in corporate prayer to intercede spiritually for the Montavilla area and surrounding communities
- Event assistance to help organize and host the Volunteer Worship Night and prayer support the day of Compassion Montavilla.
Medical Team Coordinator
The Medical Team Coordinator provides leadership in pulling together the Doctors, Nurses, Assistants and equipment necessary to meet the patient's basic health care needs within the limited scope of the clinic day. These professionals are dedicated to continuing the healing work of Jesus, beyond the body, to the heart, mind and soul of people precious to God and to us.

Objectives:
- Recruit Doctors, Nurses and Assistants
- Assemble necessary clinic equipment
- Identify and collect prescription assistance
- Establish scope of services offered
- Coordinate with referral organizations
- Establish flow of guests through triage and records
- Maintain medical records
Dental Team Coordinator
The Dental Team provides leadership in pulling together Dentists, Hygienists, Assistants and equipment necessary to meet the patient's basic dental care needs within the limited scope of the clinic day. More than fixing teeth, this team ministers to the people with the healing power of Jesus Christ.

- Coordinate Medical Teams International mobile clinic and volunteers
- Set up mobile dental clinics
- Establish guidelines for the scope of dental services
- Pre-assign patients for morning appointments
- Screen patients for most effective ministry
Finance Team Coordinator
Precious to the heart of God is the way His people use money. The Finance Team assembles to create a financial force that more than meets the physical needs; it moves the observer to worship. This team magnifes the name of Jesus through such God-honoring giving and spending that it brings praise to the work of the Spirit of God.

Public Relations Team Coordinator
The Public Relations Team is the voice of Compassion Montavilla. They passionately represent the efforts of hundreds of people. No progress will be made without this team saying it well. In doing so, they also dare to stand next to the throne of God and declare, “You are loved by the King of Kings.”

Objectives:
- Create all media for advertising the event
- Write and distribute press releases
- Organize community notification
- Communicate with local media
- Document the event through pictures, video and writing
Layout Team Coordinator
The Layout Team insures the clinic day is accomplished with appropriate space allocated for each service, a smooth reception, process and exit flow, everyone always knowing where to go and how to get there. Typically the Social Services Fair is held in a very large space (gymnasium?), the medical and dental work is held in smaller spaces (classrooms?) and volunteer check-in is held in another large space (cafeteria?).

Hospitality Team Coordinator
The Hospitality Team provides leadership in coordinating a team of warm, inviting people who demonstrate the love of Jesus through their kindness and their servant hearts. They are the hug of Compassion Montavilla. Their primary job is to make the volunteers and people who attend Compassion Montavilla feel loved and honored. As much as the Lord allows, this team is to build ongoing relationships with patients, so that Compassion Montavilla inspires lives beyond the event.

Children's Ministry Team Coordinator
The Children's Ministry Team provides a safe place for kids to do what they do best: be kids. Staffed with cring, high-quality volunteers, this team leads children to experience activities they will want to share with their whole family.

Objectives:
- Plan and operate a check-in/check-out security system
- Design and lead games that involve the children in activity while they wait
- Supervise presentations such as puppets or sketches
- Conduct crafts that teach values to the children in a fun, active environment.
Social Services Team Coordinator
The Social Service team is committed to organizing a fair with many community partners represented. Throughout the day, our guests will visit your booths to receive information, services and/or referrals.
Note: If you are part of a social service organization or church that would like to share your information with the people of Montavilla, read the Social Services Fair information and fill out the application.

Interpreter Team Coordinator
The Interpreters team provides the health care, intake, and social services, with interpreters who show kindness and compassion to those served by Compassion Montavilla. They are a thread between cultures that stitches the community together.

- Recruit Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Vietnamese interpreters
- Schedule and encourage interpreters
Equipment / Set-up Team Coordinator
The Equipment Management team is those who bless the people involved in Compassion Montavilla by their service of love and hard work. They model a sacrifice of love for Jesus and people through their cheerful labor setting up rooms with tables and chairs, hauling medical equipment, and keeping the grounds in a manner of cleanliness that honors Christ and blesses Clark K-8 @ Binnsmead.

- Gets tables and other equipment rounded up and set up
- Handles set up and tear down organization

Parking / Shuttle Team Coordinator
The Parking and Security Team is the first impressions team of Compassion Montavilla. Their primary goal is to welcome the patient with a friendly greeting and helpful direction. In many ways, this team sets the tone for every other experience the guest will receive.

- Organize volunteers to handle parking and shuttle vans
- Coordinate extra parking space around the area
- Layout parking lot for mobile vans
Food Service Team Coordinator

- Recruit individuals and organizations to prepare and serve a lunch to the guests and volunteers
- Coordinate the distribution of food to guests and volunteers on the day of the event
Volunteer Team Coordinator

Objectives:
- Recruit volunteers for the event
- Connect team leaders with volunteers through a centralized volunteer sign-up system
- Maintain a volunteers database
Follow-up Coordination
Our guest's experience will be a flash in the pan if not for the follow up team. This team will recruit, train, and mobilize an army of volunteers whose interest is seeing people get a boost in our community. They will build relationships that will last a life time, or perhaps one without end.
